In 1838, Peter Kaiser opened his shoe workshop in Pirmasens. Within a few years, he had transformed the company into one of the first internationally renowned industrial shoe manufacturers. Today, PETER KAISER is one of the oldest and most respected women's shoe brands in Europe, and its story is still being written in the German shoe capital.

Now part of the CAPRICE family, the brand revitalises its time-honoured values with a contemporary vision: quiet luxury, finest materials and a style that is unmistakable.

PETER KAISER was awarded Top Brand 2025 in the leather goods category by the trade magazine Textilwirtschaft, recognising both its design expertise and its quality leadership. As part of the Wortmann Group, the brand is also committed to responsible leather production. It is a member of the Leather Working Group, and 100% of the leather for its Spring/Summer 2026 collection comes from LWG-certified manufacturers, 90% of them gold rated.
